Cute Cute Geese

Last night we went on our traditional summer Boston Market picnic.  We picked up our meals and took them to Heartland of America park in the Old Market.  Mia loved having a picnic!  We were surrounded by geese, ducks and people walk dogs.  Mia loves all types of animals so she had a hard time focusing on eating her dinner, but he really enjoyed petting people's dogs and watching the geese.
After dinner, we got out our bags of bread and fed the geese.  It was amazing- we would throw bread to the ducks and the fish would jump up and grab the bread before the ducks could get it.  Mia loved this!  Then the geese came wandering over and so we threw bread to them.  They were only like a foot away from us which made me nervous since Mia's little face is the same height as the geese.  One goose kept coming closer and closer and hissing at us- mean little goose!  Mia says everything is cute right now and she just kept saying, cute cute geese!  Even this morning when I got her out of bed, she was telling me cute geese.

Sitting down for a minute- she was thinking about throwing a fit but she decided not to- for once!!

Big like daddy!

We ended our night with a walk across the pedestrian bridge that goes from Nebraksa to Iowa. It was a great evening! We are loving this fall air- 2 picnics this week and 3 days at the park- that's a good fall week!

Our beautiful Omaha skyline at dusk

I love this picture of Omaha

Oh man- I love that little girl!

Half in Nebraska- Half in Iowa

The bridge- so pretty all lit up!
