Pumpkin Patch Fun

Mia and I went to Pooley's Pumpkin Patch with MOPS last week- it was such a great time!  I just can't imagine a better day than spending it with Mia outside in the fall!

Mia looks so teeny driving this tractor!

Feeding the chicks- she loved that there was a duck in the chicken pen.

Petting a baby chick- Mia LOVES animals and this was right up her alley.

Why is sitting on pumpkins so fun for kids?

Mia is crazy about cats- which is weird because I don't like them at all.  She was so excited to see this litter of kittens with their mommy.  She would have stayed with them the whole time we were there if I wouldn't have drug her away!  By the way, she still calls kittens 'dowhys'- no idea why!

Back looking at the funny duck with the chickens.

Mia really enjoyed spending time with Keira- they both loved spinning round and round on this big swing.

So pretty!

Again, Mia loved holding and petting this little black bunny.  She loves everything animal!

And of course, she needed to kiss it- she kisses everything!

Riding a tractor around the track!

This was the highlight of Mia's day!  The man running the pony rides wasn't sure she was old enough, but she did fantastic!  She held on just like he told her to and squeezed her little legs tight.  She kept saying "woo hoo" and "hooray!"  He ended up saying she was a natural!  Made me proud of my big girl!

As soon as she saw daddy that evening she ran up and said- Daddy, neigh neigh!  She wanted to make sure he knew she rode a horse!

Picking out a pumpkin to take home

They both found good ones!

So proud of her pumpkin!

Mia was sleeping before we left the parking lot- what a fun morning!
