Happy Halloween

We had a great family day on Sunday.
We've been doing a lot of playing in the living room together lately. We were trying to get Mia to walk back and forth to us but our neighbors were decorating their garage and getting ready for a party and she was pretty fascinated by the whole thing. She just kept pointing out the window and saying "daah?"

I love this silly little grin!
I was hanging her upside down for a giggle!

My family came over that evening for our traditional spaghetti dinner.
Harry was dressed like a dorky IT guy for the day...
love the suspenders!
Harry takes walking with the walker as a very serious job

Mia was a BUTTERFLY for Halloween-
and the cutest one you've ever seen!
Harrison was the darn cutest little chicken too!
There is something so sweet about this picture of them just wishing they were out there trick or treating with the big kids...

After dinner we sat outside around the firepit. By far my most favorite thing about fall is campfires and SMORES!! My sister surprised me with all of the fixings for smores- yummy!

Mia didn't get a smore this year,
but she was thrilled to have a graham cracker.
I love the smokey look of this picture. Not a big fan of the smokey smell that sticks around for quite awhile after the fire though.

My darling little butterfly's 1st Halloween

There's that cute little wrinkled up nose toothy grin again...
Here is Mia last year on Halloween-
only 4 days away from being in my arms
(Mia's on the right)
This was by far my most favorite Halloween! What a great day!
